We are a group of students from MICA (Maryland Institute College of Art), a school in Baltimore, MD, USA and Zayed University, a school in Dubai, UAE. We are taking part in a cultural-exchange program where we will be learning about and experiencing each others’ cultures. The faculty that we work with are Bernard Canniffe, Lisa Prichard: MICA,  Josh Watts and Ron Hawker: Zayed.

Maya Lisa Akabane Graffagna. A Graphic Design major/Illustration concentrator going into her junior year, I am a student at MICA. Having lived in Japan and the US, I bring in to the group cultural experiences from all over the world.
